HospitalRoom.org is an independent educational publication. It is not a hospital, health system, software vendor, consulting company, or product marketer. It has no products to sell and no rankings to publish.

Our mission is straightforward: to explain how modern hospital rooms actually work — not how they are marketed. The subject is broad. It includes the technology at the bedside, the workflows of the people who use it, the design of the room itself, and the operations, standards, and evidence that shape all three.

Editorial principles

Neutrality. We describe categories of technology and practice. We do not endorse brands. Where a company's work is notable, we describe what it does in the same neutral tone we apply to everything else.

Evidence. Where evidence exists, we use it. Where it is weak or contested, we say so. We do not manufacture confidence.

Clarity. We assume readers are intelligent but not experts in every specialty. Difficult ideas are explained without being talked down to.

Continuous revision. Every article carries a visible revision date. As practice and evidence change, articles change with them.
